Rifle Classes

This class is for beginners. It is a friendly, relaxed environment. If you have recently purchased a rifle or are thinking about buying one, this is your class. We go over everything for the AR or AK platform. Cost is $220 per person.

• Approximately 5 hours

Equipment required:

Bring snacks and water

AR15/AK47 type rifle

You must have sights or an optic on your rifle

100 rounds of ammunition (MUST be purchased from Lakewood Shooting Range if your class is there. Bring your own ammo at Evergreen.)

No open toed shoes / low cut shirts (hot brass hazard)

This is NOT a beginner class. This is the next step up from Basic Rifle.

We focus on self defense with a rifle inside 50 yards. If you cannot demonstrate safe firearms handling skills, you will not be allowed to shoot and will not receive a refund. There are no stores nearby, except a gas station a few miles away. This class is outdoors, but there is a covered area. Cost is $280 per person.

Eye and ear protection

Quality Rifle

Sling for your rifle

Magazine pouches (Belt and/or Vest)

Minimum 500 rounds of ammunition

(NO Green Tip M855 or armor piercing ammo)

You must have sights or an optic on your rifle

Equipment recommended:

Parts and batteries for your rifle / optic

Bring a pistol and holster if you want

Plate carriers / battle belts are welcome

Shooting gloves

Knee pads

This class is outdoors, so dress appropriately
