If I could give 10 stars, I most definitely would. I HIGHLY recommend anyone looking for instruction or just learning something new to get with Travis. He is patient and very informative, not only in firearms but safety outside and inside the home.
Ladies, Travis is a great instructor for first time learners as well as experienced. I will definitely be getting further instruction from this gentleman! Thanks to him, I am more comfortable handling the pistols and have increased knowledge for mine and my families safety

Travis at Black Ring Tactical is amazing! I have done a level 2 rifle and a low light class with him. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient. He really cares about his classes. He even came in and taught after injuring his ribs. I cannot recommend him more! Great guy!

Took a private class with the owner of black ring tatical. Great instructor and person. Any person especially a female would thrive with any class taught by the owner! I learned so much of what I am capable of doing to defend myself being on the smaller side of humanity! Left with many new skills to build on and practice on the daily. Thank you for the instruction and training! Can't wait for more classes.

Took a basics course to familiarize myself with my new carry and try to rid of some old bad habits. Travis was patient, so knowledgeable and encouraging. Would definitely recommend everyone to take one of his classes no matter where you are on the spectrum.

I took the basic pistol class and it greatly exceeded my expectations! Travis is extremely knowledgeable, articulate and patient, you could not ask for a better instructor! I wish I could give this class more than five stars because it truly deserves it!!!
