What we do
Black Ring Tactical, LLC provides the highest quality firearms training to everyone from the mother wanting to protect her family, to responsible citizens and Mil / LE members. Gun training is done in a safe, friendly environment by a certified and knowledgeable veteran firearms instructor. Classes are kept at a 6:1 student to instructor ratio to provide individual attention. We give you the skills and mindset to safely handle firearms and protect yourself and your family. About The Instructor
Travis Sparr
I have carried a firearm professionally for 17 years. I am also a Combat Veteran of Iraq and a former Federal Security Contractor for DHS(FPS). I have participated in over 200 direct action raids, trained Iraqi soldiers as part of a MITT, spent time on a sniper team, provided armed security, and was a firearms instructor for a Federal Contract. I am married and have two boys, a dog, cat, and a bunch of chickens. My hobbies are building things and hanging out with my family. I have a strong passion for guns, self defense, and teaching people how to defend themselves against the threats we face today. I strive to teach relevant, real-world, up to date information to civilians, LE, and Military. This is a family business, as my wife is also a certified Range Safety Officer. She helps me with larger classes so we can provide the most 1-on-1 instruction possible.
